This 59 is SOLD SOLD - 1959 Mercedes 300SL Roadster.
This 300SL Roadster that was built in 1959 for 1960 model year
is one of 1858 ever produced. It is a rust-free California car,
three owners and was originally delivered in Red with a Black interior.
Marx Mercedes Service (Est.1970) has been servicing this 300SL for over twenty
years. Over $30K has been spent on the engine & brakes. brand
new leather interior & new German Soft-top and has had some
new paintwork. This is an excellent turn key 300SL in excellent condition
with both hard-top and soft-top. The 300SL was the pioneer of multi-tube
"space frame" approach to chassis construction. All-independent suspension - the rear by
treacherous swing axles and direct fuel injection. Top speed of 165 mph
from the 3.0-liter straight six engine. It is a beautiful example that

Triple-vented Street Helmets with Face Shield - PRIX TRIPLE-VENTED STREET HELMETS WITH FACE SHIELD, AIR DEFLECTOR/DEFUSER AND REMOVABLE LINER M2000 Snell certified! Fingertip-adjustable air vents are located on the chin bar and forehead. All vents are black, except white on white helmets. Color-matched air deflector/defuser scoop covers exhaust vent on top of helmet and maximizes airflow by pulling air from open chin-bar and forehead vents up and out of the helmet. Deflector/defuser has 3 front openings and 2 rear openings. Helmet liner is removable for washing or replacement. Stronger and lighter than fiberglass! Outer shell and chin bar are made of revolutionary Tenntex?, a unique alloy of polycarbonate and other materials that's stronger and dissipates impact energy better than fiberglass or conventional polycarbonate. Aerodynamic Tenntex? outer shell is balanced to help prevent wobble at higher speeds. Shell is sanded smooth, then painted with quality paint. To achieve the deep luster of the metallics, only ultra-fine flakes are used. High-gloss clear polyurethane protects the painted finish?also allows effortless soap-and-water cleanups. PRIX logo is applied over the protective clear coating and may be removed if desired. Contoured-to-fit one-piece polystyrene inner shell helps absorb shocks not dissipated by the outer shell. Comfort features include: perforated black brushed microfiber nylon lining with bonded-on foam backing is sweat resistant and moisture absorbent; extra-thick cheek padding; cushioned chin strap to minimize chafing; cushioned neck roll with black vinyl lower panel to block cold, rain and wind; extra-large window ensures unobstructed viewing. Black nylon chin strap with chromed steel "D" rings, black rubber base and window trim. Meet or exceed DOT specifications. Soft, padded nylon bag with drawstring closure is included to protect stored helmet. Replacement face shield, side pods and helmet bag sold separately.
